Most thorough study of female orgasm

The main studies of human sexuality Kinsey (1948 and 1953) and Masters and Johnson (1966) - drew conclusions largely from statistical and physiological research. A recent publication - "The Female Orgasm" by Seymour Fisher - aims at adding the psychological component to the earlier studies. In addition to giving the most comprehensive review of earlier sexological work in this area, "The Female Orgasm" includes a detailed presentation of Fisher's own research findings. A major positive finding is that the greater a woman's feeling that love objects are easily lost or may disappear the less likely she is to attain orgasm and that this anxiety may frequently be traced to the dominant socialisation practices for women in our society.
