In data based on single unmarried males Kinsey found that the 21-25 year-old group "petted to climax" more frequently than the other ten age ranges surveyed. Even so their record is hardly impressive - a mere seven times a week. Perhaps we should be surprised that this figure is higher than that for the 16-20 year-old group (4.5 times a week as maximum) - but the younger men are perhaps too busy masturbating (15 times a week compared with twelve for the 21-25 year age group).
